“ | This is a shrine to Rubble, who ensures that the soil will always be fertile enough to produce fine, healthy crops. | ” |
Rubble is the second Elemental Warrior to be obtained by Kameo, he is rescued from a Shadow Troll in the Forgotten Forest Glade. He is the first one obtained that she does not use in the beginning of the game to storm Thorn's Castle.
His alternate skin can be purchased from the shopkeeper in the north of Forgotten Forest Glade for 100 Runes.
History[]
Rubble was recovered by the king of the sixth age, when the elves discovered a remote cave on the peak of a distant mountain. Climbing to the top of this mountain was a difficult and lengthy journey that cost several lives, but the king was at last successful.
Rubble ensured that the soil underfoot would always be fertile and produce good, healthy corps. In combat, his abilities helped the royals to turn the tide of many battles.
Those were difficult times, as the elves struggled to bring peace to the land but rubble ensured many victories as his powers trapped bandits under many tons of earth and stone and split the very earth itself to swallow up an approaching army.
Abilities[]
Basic[]
Sling Stone:
Sling Stone allows Rubble to launch a rock in the direction he is facing by pulling the Right Trigger. The rock will stun any enemy it hits, or deals damage if the Razor Stone upgrade is active. Any launched rocks will return to Rubble automatically.
Stone Chip:
Stone Chip allows Rubble to launch one of his rock in a high arc in the direction he is facing by pulling the Left Trigger. The rock will stun any enemy it hits, or deals damage if the Razor Stone upgrade is active. Any launched rocks will return to Rubble automatically.
Gravel Blast:
Pulling both the Left Trigger and Right Trigger will charge the Gravel Blast technique, which when activated launches all of Rubble's rocks in several directions. The rocks stun any enemy it hits, or will deal damage if the Razor Stone upgrade is active. Rubble will be defenseless until all of his rocks return, unlike Sling Stone and Stone Chip where he can fire again as soon as one of his rocks returns.
Advanced[]
Razor Stone (costs 2 elemental fruit)
The Razor Stone upgrade adds spikes to Rubble's rocks, making techniques that stunned an enemy instead cling to the enemy, dealing damage. The spikes makes rocks that hit enemies take longer to return to Rubble, leaving him defenseless for longer if he has no rocks left.
Rapid Charge (costs 2 elemental fruit)
Rapid Charge reduces the time need to activate the Gravel Blast technique, useful when Rubble is surrounded by enemies and at close-quarters.
Stone Storm (costs 3 elemental fruit)
Extra[]
Spirit Up (costs 1 elemental fruit)
An upgrade for Rubble that increases his spirit bar.
